Horse washed up at Rame Head beach in Cornwall

In a bizarre incident a dead horse has washed up on a beach in South East Cornwall.

The shocking discovery was made by a swimmer at Rame Head who managed to photograph the brown-haired fully-grown animal.

The sad sight lays partially sunken in the sand in an inlet at the popular South East Cornwall beauty spot.

The photographer said he believed the horse had only been there for a “couple of days”.

It is possible the horse fell off a nearby cliff, or was washed up after getting into trouble in the water.
